About Cottage Food Directory

Cottage Food Directory is a free directory that helps people find local home bakers and cottage food makers. Cottage food is food made in a home kitchen and sold directly to customers, like sourdough bread, decorated cookies, cakes, candy and jams.

We're starting in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, and adding more places over time.

Where listings come from

Listings come from public information, such as a maker's own website, social media pages and public market or directory listings. We show only a city or area, never a home address.

Makers can claim or update their listing or ask us to remove it anytime. New makers can list their business free.

A note on food safety

We don't inspect or endorse any business. Cottage food is made in home kitchens that aren't routinely inspected, so ask the maker about ingredients and allergens before you buy.
